ABOUT US

We are a family company focused on property management with Philippine capital, dedicated to investment and management of real estate assets in Spain. It currently has a property portfolio valued at more than one billion euros, which also forms part of the skyline of the most important cities in the country.

ORIGINS

Emperador Properties was created by Andrew L. Tan, chair of the Philippine Alliance Global Group conglomerate, the largest business group in the Philippines with real estate, alcoholic beverages and fast food divisions. In 1989, Andrew L. Tan founded Megaworld Corporation within the conglomerate. This group company is engaged in real estate development and also carries out commercial, hotel and leisure activities.

Due to his success in his country of origin and the excellent relationship he always had with Spain, he was encouraged to start a new venture under the Emperador Properties company, which began with the acquisition in 2015 of Torre Emperador Castellana in Madrid. The Company has since made other property investments, such as the purchase of Torre Diagonal One in Barcelona in 2019, and the acquisition of the Caleido project in Madrid as of June 2025.

To date, Emperador Properties is a benchmark in the real estate, office and retail sector. It is a company in which collaboration, integrity and long-term vision are the fundamental pillars seeking, above all, the well-being of companies and their employees in their business activities.
